Ephesians 1
God will bring all things together under Christ's authority.
I won't lie, I feel like crap today. I was sick all day yesterday, I didn't sleep well last night. Went to sleep with a headache and woke up with a headache. My stomach still feels terrible. I'm not complaining, but I am explaining why it feels like today I just went through the motions of reading my Bible.
But now that I am putting all my thoughts down here, I see a theme in todays reading. I probably say it too much, but I'll say it again. I am always amazed by how God puts various verses together to teach us a lesson, or how they all fit.
Moses surrounded himself with Godly people (Exodus 18), he didn't harden his heart (Psalm 95), his knowledge of God resulted in good judgement.
At Sunday School, we are going to be studying Ephesians for the next few weeks, so I'm adding Ephesians to my daily reading. I will be reading a chapter every day, fro a week straight. I look forward to seeing what God has to show us in the reading of this. Our theme will be a Heavenly Viewpoint in a a Hellacious World.
Today's lesson, God will bring all things together under Christ's authority. I know I do, but I get so caught up in the batter, I forget the war is already won. Christ will rule everything one day. I need to keep that in top of my mind, so I don't get so discouraged on a daily basis.
